Tee Trade (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Tee Trade platform, accessible at goteetrade.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service. By using Tee Trade, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly to us and information generated through your use of the platform.
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:
- Full name and email address
- Role (club member or outside golfer)
- Self-reported handicap index
- Location (city and state, optional)
- Profile biography (optional)
Booking and Transaction Information
When you make or receive a booking, we collect:
- Tee time details (date, time, course, spots)
- Booking request and approval history
- Payment amounts and transaction status
- Guest pass codes and confirmation details
Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or bank account credentials. Stripe collects and processes payment data in accordance with its own privacy policy. We receive limited transaction metadata (amount, status, payout ID) necessary to operate the platform.
Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information when you use Tee Trade, including:
- Pages visited and features used
- Device type and browser information
- IP address and approximate location
- Timestamps of actions on the platform
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to operate, improve, and protect the Tee Trade platform:
- Facilitate bookings — connecting members and guests, processing requests and confirmations
- Process payments — routing funds via Stripe Connect to member bank accounts
- Send communications — booking confirmations, approval/denial notices, and platform updates via email
- Verify and vet users — ensuring the integrity of the member and guest community
- Manage reviews — storing and displaying ratings between members and guests
- Improve the platform — analyzing usage patterns to enhance features and user experience
- Prevent fraud and abuse — detecting and addressing violations of our Terms of Service
- Comply with legal obligations — responding to lawful requests from governmental authorities
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Between members and guests — when a booking is confirmed, limited profile information (name, booking details, pass code) is shared between the relevant parties to facilitate the round.
- Service providers — we share data with trusted third-party services that help us operate the platform (see Section 4 below).
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tee Trade, our users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. Third-Party Services
Tee Trade uses the following third-party services to operate the platform:
Supabase
Database and authentication infrastructure. Your account credentials and platform data are stored on Supabase-managed servers. Supabase adheres to SOC 2 Type II standards.
Stripe
Payment processing and payouts via Stripe Connect. When you add a payment method or bank account, that data is handled directly by Stripe and governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Resend
Transactional email delivery. We use Resend to send booking confirmations, approval notifications, and account-related emails. Your email address is shared with Resend for this purpose.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or maintaining financial records).
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — update or correct inaccurate information via your account settings
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and associated personal data
- Opt-out — unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time

7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. These measures include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children's Privacy
Tee Trade is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Tee Trade after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
